Dave Villalta

(Guitar) Even before officially joining Choleric, Dave shared his unique musical abilities with the band during the recording process.  Younger brother of drummer Josh, through hard work and pure determination he earned the lead guitarist position and has never looked back.  Dave has brought his blues- influenced melodic style to the mix, adding a new flavor that put the perfect finishing touches on the group’s debut album, Beloved Enemy. From the powerful and moving solos in “Fade Away” and “Ungrateful One”, to atmospheric accents throughout the album, Dave’s goal is to take the metal genre to a new dimension with his diverse and distinctive style.  His influences include U2, Stevie Ray Vaughan ,Jeff Lynne, Porcupine Tree, Megadeth and Dream Theater.
